Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Airspace / Aviation Analyst for the FAA Anchorage TRACON (A11) in Anchorage, Alaska. The role supports airspace changes, training development, and procedural updates for multiple facilities, with approx. 10% travel expected.

The position is part-time (20–24 hours per week) and onsite in Anchorage, AK. Requires CPC designation and TRACON experience, plus ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• CPC designation with Terminal and/or TRACON experience desired.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Experience in staff environments preparing written documents, memos, briefs.
• Familiarity with FAA structure, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer airspace training scenarios.
• Assist in developing training syllabi for IFR, VFR and PBN operations and routes within affected facilities.
• Assist in new traffic flow training for EDF Runway 17 CAT II ILS implementation.
• Prepare training manuals and classroom curriculums for Anchorage area facilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience

Masters with 6+ years of relevant experience
