Job summary

Augusta Richmond County seeks an Airport Airside Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily airside activities, ensure FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 compliance, and support the COO with scheduling and oversight of Airside Operations Agents.

The position requires an associate's degree in Airport/Aviation Management and at least three years of full-time airport operations experience, plus strong knowledge of regulations, communication, leadership, and training program development.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Airport/Aviation Management or related field.
Minimum 3 years of full-time airport operations experience.
Knowledge of FAA Part 139, DHS TSA 1542, and related regulations.
Proficiency in teaching, public speaking, and training program development.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Ensures airport compliance with FAA Part 139 and TSA 1542 regulations while maintaining ACM.
Conducts daily inspections of runways, taxiways, safety areas, ramps, and perimeter fencing with accurate records.
Oversees wildlife hazard mitigation and depredation permits; maintains wildlife records.
Coordinates and monitors construction projects; communicates with ATC; provides airside escorts and operates department vehicles.
Supervises Airside Operations Agents; schedules shifts, assigns tasks, and provides coaching and training.
