Job summary

uAvionix is seeking an Airports UAS Technical Project Manager to lead multi‑faceted deployments for ATC/ATM and BVLOS UAS operations. The role blends customer interaction, project execution, and subcontractor oversight, with a focus on safe, compliant, and on‑time delivery.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage field installations, and provide customer-facing documentation and training for FAA programs under SAI. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in project management or customer success role.
• Experience in aviation, air traffic control, IoT, or telecommunications is a plus.
• PM, PgMP, CAPM and/or comparable certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate an interdepartmental team to complete a project on time and to spec.
• Serve as primary contact with customers throughout implementation.
• Manage end-to-end implementation projects including scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain clear communication, document status, risks, and issues.
• Oversee subcontractors for electrical, fiber optic, and network work.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and regulations.
• Lead site configuration, testing, and acceptance activities.
