Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Part-time Wheelchair Attendant at CMH Airport to assist passengers with mobility needs and ensure safe, comfortable travel.

You will operate wheelchair equipment, push passengers to gates, help with luggage, and support team members while complying with safety standards and airport procedures. This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices (iPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile Devices).
• Proven customer service mindset and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist passengers requiring mobility support to/from aircraft seats using appropriate devices.
• Push wheelchair passengers to/from airport gates.
• Assist passengers with handling luggage (checked, carry-on, claimed).
• Guide passengers in wheelchairs down the jet bridge and ensure wheelchair brakes are engaged.
• Complete reports regarding wheelchairs or incidents and adhere to gate dispatch orders.
• Demonstrate PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
