Job summary

SSP Group is hiring Utility Workers for our restaurants inside the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport in Hebron, KY. The role focuses on keeping dining areas clean, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining equipment to ensure a safe guest experience.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old with 6 months of retail or food service experience, good English communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. Food handler permits and certifications may be required by law.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• 6 months' experience in retail or food service
• High school diploma preferred
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read, speak and understand English
• Experience handling guest service issues
• Food handler’s permit as required by law
• Brand certification as required
• Ability to stand for long periods in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hygienic work areas to create a positive guest experience
• Clean surfaces and equipment including floors, countertops, and storage areas
• Remove refuse to designated areas and reset dining areas as needed
• Wash dishes or load/unload dishwashers and return to storage
• Operate cleaning chemicals safely to meet sanitary standards
• Assist guests with requests and communicate needs to servers or supervisors
• Load/unload supply trucks and transport items between storage and work areas
• Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of food items
• Perform other duties as assigned.
