Job summary

SSP America is seeking an Utility/Dishwasher worker to help keep our airport restaurants clean and sanitised for guests and team members. You will support dining areas, stock, and assist with guest requests in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces and equipment, loading/unloading, and following sanitary standards. At least 18, with 6 months in retail/food service, and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in retail or food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests and receive instructions.
• Experience in dealing with problems involving guest service.
• Food handlers permit / Brand certification as required.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment (floors, ceilings, walls, etc.).
• Remove refuse to designated areas.
• Clear and reset tables and transport service-ware to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Scrape, wash, or run dishes through the dishwasher as needed.
• Clean equipment using appropriate chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate needs to server/supervisor.
• Load/unload supply trucks and transfer between storage and work areas.
• Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items.
• Other duties as assigned.
