Job summary

The Airport Duty Manager at Nashville International Airport oversees day-to-day operations and coordinates all airport authority functions to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient campus. This role serves as the on-site leadership point for decision-making during normal operations and emergencies, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2–4 years of airport security or operations experience required.
• Valid Class D Driver’s License required.
• ICS 100–800 certifications must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Airport Security Coordinator Certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Nashville airport campus and coordinate airport authority functions.
• Serve as the on-site leadership point for operational decisions during normal and emergency situations (24/7/365).
• Supervise shift activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate resources with MNAA departments and external stakeholders; manage incident response.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and drive safety and security across operations.
