Job summary

Reimagined Parking is seeking a Shuttle Dispatcher at the BWI Airport location to oversee real-time shuttle operations. The role requires operating dispatch software, monitoring driver staffing, and predicting arrivals to ensure on-time service.

The position emphasizes quick decision making, effective communication with drivers and maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend shifts may be required to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Shuttle, taxi or commercial Vehicle Dispatching experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch functions, route scheduling, or fleet operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time oversight of shuttle bus operations using dispatch software, reports, and two-way radio communication.
• Monitor vehicle availability, driver staffing levels, and route coverage to maintain required service frequencies.
• Accurately predict shuttle movement and arrival times using provided tools and operational data.
• Adjust service levels based on passenger volumes, peak periods, and operational needs.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules, routes, and safety protocols.
• Communicate with maintenance, customer service, supervisors, and management to support daily operational goals.
• Notify maintenance of mechanical issues and vehicles requiring attention.
• Provide direction to drivers in alignment with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in resolving customer escalations and service disruptions.
• Create daily operations reports and maintain accurate records.
