• South Dakota law enforcement certification required (or ability to obtain).
• One year of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old at hiring.
• Firearm safety training and requalification annually.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, coach, evaluate, and assist with hiring and training.
• Maintain armed presence at airport concourses, support TSA, conduct compliance checks and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with airport operations and law enforcement partners; make arrests and secure evidence.
• Oversee checkpoint operations, detain prohibited items, verify credentials for armed officers and Federal Flight Deck Officers.
