Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of related security, law enforcement, military, customer service, or equivalent experience.
• Florida Class D Security Officer License is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of airport property, buildings, parking areas, hangars, and grounds to deter criminal activity and identify safety concerns.
• Monitor facilities and property for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, or violations of Authority rules and regulations.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, accidents, and requests for assistance.
• Assist airport tenants, employees, visitors, and the public with information and customer service.
• Prepare accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Monitor security cameras, access control systems, and other security equipment.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire rescue, EMS, and other emergency responders when necessary.
• Enforce airport policies and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
