As an Airport Security Officer: Part-Time TCO Tuesday/Fridayin Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist travelers and staff with professionalism, communicate clearly, and report observations using technology as needed. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, damaged property, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervisors, airport operations personnel, and law enforcement partners as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
