Allied Universal is seeking an Airport Security Officer: P/T TCO Sunday/Monday in Honolulu, HI. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor areas, assist travelers, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals and public areas to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, coordinated manner with operations and emergency personnel.
• Document patrol activities and incidents accurately in site reporting systems.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel when requested.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
