As a Driving Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned airport locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures, verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, airport personnel, and Allied Universal team members regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied University will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
