Job summary

A leading airport operations firm seeks a Director of Safety and Security to oversee safety and emergency preparedness at T.F. Green International Airport. The ideal candidate will manage TSA relations, lead security training, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This role requires prior experience in airport safety, project management skills, and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Qualifications

• Strong project management and contractor coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills under pressure.
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems and airport emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, security, and emergency readiness at the airport.
• Serve as the primary contact for TSA and oversee security contract.
• Conduct training for RIAC personnel and maintain safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Project management skills

Knowledge of safety precautions

Excellent verbal and written communication

Understanding of 49 CFR Part 139
