Job summary

Massport in Boston is seeking an Assistant Director, Aviation Security Operations to lead TSA-approved security programs across Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field, and Worcester Regional Airport. You will collaborate with federal, state, local law enforcement and airport partners to ensure compliance, incident readiness, and the safe, secure, and efficient operation of Massport facilities.

A Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years in Homeland Security or Aviation Security with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related field.
10 years of experience in Homeland Security or Aviation Security, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
Working knowledge of TSA regulations governing provision of public safety and security issues, specifically parts 1540, 1542, 129 and ICAO standards.
Demonstrated skills in working with senior aviation officials and multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of TSA-approved aviation security programs across Massport airports.
Foster collaboration among law enforcement, regulatory authorities, airport operators, tenants, and internal business units.
Provide leadership to Aviation Security personnel, develop staff capabilities, and drive audits, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
Champion security innovation and align strategies with Massport objectives and evolving requirements.
