Job summary

Massachusetts Port Authority is seeking an Assistant Director, Aviation Security Operations to lead TSA-approved security programs across BOS facilities. You will coordinate with federal, state, and local authorities and oversee security operations for Logan, Hanscom Field, and Worcester, ensuring readiness and compliance.

The role requires extensive homeland and aviation security experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to guide staff through audits, risk assessments, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or related field.
• 10 years of experience in Homeland Security or Aviation Security, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Lead TSA-approved aviation security programs across Logan, Hanscom Field, and Worcester.
• Coordinate security operations with law enforcement, authorities, tenants, and internal units.
• Develop staff capabilities and drive performance through audits and risk assessments.
• Align security plans with Massport objectives and evolving security requirements.
