Job summary

Villa Restaurant Group at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX seeks an Hourly Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist the General Manager, coach staff, ensure guest satisfaction, manage safety standards, and help with cost controls. ServSafe is a plus; flexible hours include evenings and weekends. Growth opportunities within a multi-brand organization are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of restaurant supervisory or management experience.
• Quick-service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise, coach, and support team members.
• Train employees to meet company standards.
• Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns.
• Support food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost controls.
• Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Lead by example with hands-on support during busy periods.
