Job summary

SSP America is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Sun King Brewery at Indianapolis International Airport. You will oversee shifts across front of house, bar and kitchen, reporting to the General Manager, with early starts and steady volume through open to close.

Requires at least 2 years in full-service restaurant management and supervisory experience in back-of-house operations. HACCP/ServSafe knowledge and strong scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-service restaurant management experience.
• 1 or more years of supervisory experience in a kitchen or back of house operation, preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a team and build a schedule.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, ServSafe, health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Availability for varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager to run daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead shifts across the front of house, bar and kitchen.
• Hire, train, schedule and mentor team members.
• Hold the team to Sun King brand standards for beer service, food quality and presentation.
• Enforce health, safety and food sanitation standards, including HACCP and ServSafe requirements.
• Manage inventory, place orders and control product quality and waste.
• Reconcile cash and apply company financial policies.
• Coach performance in the moment and resolve guest concerns before they escalated.
• Communicate clearly with the management team, hourly staff and airport partners.
