Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring a Tower Coordinator at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. You will control aircraft movements in non-movement areas and coordinate with FAA Ground Control to ensure on-time performance and safe taxiing.

The role requires adaptability to all weather, weekend and holiday shifts, and tasks like updating flight information and managing ramp sequencing. Training is provided as required by the company and airlines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess valid US driver9 license with a clean driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and all pre-employment testing.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Must be flexible to work any shift 7 days a week including weekends, nights and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED or six months experience as a Tower Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Control of aircraft to and from ramp in the non-movement areas.
• Coordinate movements with FAA Ground Control.
• Sequence and separation for pushback and engine start at gates.
• Prepare sequence for arriving traffic prior to ramp arrival.
• Update Flight Information in all applicable programs.
• Attend mandatory training imposed by the Company and Airlines.
