Job summary

A leading airline support company in Baton Rouge is seeking a Ramp Lead responsible for supervising Ramp Agents and ensuring a safe working environment. The role involves managing ground operations, providing necessary training, and maintaining compliance with GAT policies. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, computer experience, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds. This position requires flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays. Excellent customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least 6 months of computer experience.
• Capable of processing information in a timely manner.
• Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Ramp Agents are ready and in proper PPE.
• Lift, load, unload, and transport customer bags.
• Drive and operate ground support equipment.

Skills

Computer experience

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to navigate electronic devices

Knowledge of GSE maintenance issues

Basic computer literacy

Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Ramp or airline experience

Education

High School diploma or GED
