Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Ramp Lead to oversee airport ramp operations, coordinate a team of ramp personnel, and ensure safe, efficient handling of baggage, cargo and aircraft turnarounds.

You will communicate with flight crews and operations control, conduct safety checks, train staff, and maintain records while complying with DOT guidelines and company safety standards. This on-site role requires lifting up to 70 pounds, working nights and weekends, and operating heavy

Qualifications

• Experience in ramp operations or similar aviation role.
• Able to communicate effectively with flight crews and ground staff.
• Strong safety mindset with ability to conduct safety checks.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in using basic electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, computers).

Responsibilities

• Guide inbound/outbound aircraft to gates with care and no damage.
• Coordinate with flight crews and operations control for timely turnarounds.
• Inspect ramp area and equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Train and mentor ramp staff on best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain records of ramp activities and incidents.
