Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a Planner to optimize outbound mail for air transportation at our Charlotte, NC location. The role focuses on expediting mail and freight, coordinating pickups, and ensuring smooth communication with Airline personnel.

You will work in a fast-paced aviation environment, required to meet security requirements, read/write English, and use MS Office. The position is on-site with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• SIDA airport badgeing or background check process is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Plan outbound mail for outbound flights.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of mail.
• Monitor scanning efficiency.
• Communicate with Airline personnel.
• Retrieve and enter information from customer and QAS computer-based systems.
