Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking a Warehouse Cargo Agent in Charlotte, NC. You will expedite and route cargo for air transportation, build and break down pallets, and ensure shipments have proper security documents.

You will operate forklift, load and unload freight, and adhere to safety and security guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances required by Local and Federal Authorities.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Builds up and breaks down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines.
• Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and/or guidelines.
• Obtains proper security documents for all shipments.
• Organizes freight within the warehouse according to the base storage plan.
• Properly and safely loads and unloads freight.
