Job summary

Unifi in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Station Manager to oversee day-to-day airport operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance and strong financial stewardship of the station.

You will lead a diverse team, build partnerships with customers, review reports, manage staffing and training, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic, shift-based environment with opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 18+; valid driver's license.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Must be able to obtain credentials per airport/state requirements.
• Preferred: 3 years in aviation or ground handling.

Responsibilities

• Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure the station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required.
• Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching and mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
• Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed.
• Sets, measures and manages the performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving operational and financial objectives and goals.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
