Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Detroit is seeking a City Director to lead the aviation ground operations station and manage customer relationships and contracts. The role focuses on fostering a safety culture, driving top performance, and expanding the company footprint at the location.

The candidate will report to the Region VP, oversee staffing, performance, and collaboration with vendors, and travel as needed to support operations and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline ground handling services.
• Ability to evaluate and refine operational/financial results.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lead and develop teams toward goals.
• Experience leading innovation and project execution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain credentials per airport/state requirements.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with internal departments and external vendors to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, promote teamwork, and coach team members.
• Communicate information clearly and ensure targets are met.
• Set and measure performance and lead teams to achieve operational/financial goals.
• Delegate responsibilities and develop individuals to become high performers.
• Perform duties safely following company standards and policies.
• Report safety incidents and potential hazards promptly.
