Job summary

Quantem Aviation Services in Washington, DC, is seeking an Operations Supervisor (QAS Cargo - THS) to oversee safe, cost‑effective facility operations and staff performance. You will lead the station team, coordinate with QA, and ensure adherence to company policies and federal regulations while delivering high levels of service and profitability.

The role requires a HS diploma, valid US driver’s license, ability to obtain SIDA badge, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Must pass background/clearance requirements.
• 2 years Base Lead experience preferred.
• SIDA badge/background check required for this location.
• Able to work weekends/holidays.
• Knowledge of kilos/pounds, tariff rates.
• FAA/TSA, Hazmat, SIDA and Equipment Certification.
• Strong time management and communication.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings and ensure station updates on new developments.
• Ensure station focuses on customer service, retention and relationships.
• Assist GM/Operations Manager with station audits and reports.
• Promote adherence to QAS mission, values, and purpose.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling and training; manage discipline and promotions.
• Ensure station safety and regulatory compliance in daily activities.
• Lead the team to meet goals and manage deadlines.
• Promote safety practices and accountability across the site.
