Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services is seeking an Operations Manager in Sacramento, CA to lead field operations and the operations team. You will coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, and handling agents while implementing procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and safety.

You will drive staffing initiatives, monitor performance, and manage crises in partnership with senior leadership. Strong knowledge of airport operations and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Leadership/Operational experience.
• Established leader in managing large teams.
• Strong knowledge of airport operations policies and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of services for airlines and airports within contract and budget.
• Ensure safety and security procedures meet applicable standards.
• Coordinate with airline station managers, airport authorities, handling agents, and security officials.
• Lead local recruiting and staffing to meet service levels and QA standards.
• Monitor performance and address shortfalls.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on operational gaps and audits.
• Mentor and guide the local operations team.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and irregularities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and security measures.
• Support startup operations across lines of business.
• Backfill leadership positions when needed.
