Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all field operations at our Mesa service sites. The role leads the operations team, coordinates with airlines and airport authorities, and ensures implementation of procedures, policies, and DOT compliance.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the position emphasizes crisis management, continuous process improvement, and reporting to senior leadership. Flexible hours and extensive travel are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership/operational experience.
• Established leader capable of managing large teams.
• Deep knowledge of airport operations procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willing to travel >75% between airport stations and to meetings.
• Ability to pass DOT background check and drug screen.
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to work in office onsite Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the airport service team.
• Coordinate with airlines and airport authorities to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement DOT-compliant policies and procedures.
• Lead emergency response and crisis management with senior leadership.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and handle passenger issues.
• Oversee maintenance of airport equipment and facilities.
