Job summary

AV8 Consulting & Management, LLC is seeking an Airport Manager to supervise operations at Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport. The role requires overseeing aircraft operations, maintenance, and tenant compliance under the management contract, with budget planning and coordination of construction and grants.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Aviation Management or related field, plus the AAAE CM designation and at least two years of airport management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Management, or related field.
• AAAE CM designation.
• Minimum 2 years of airport management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee airport operations and maintenance per contract.
• Coordinate with tenants, utilities, and contractors.
• Develop annual budget and manage FAA/state grants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote safe, efficient and compliant airport activities.
• Prepare reports for the Airport Sponsor and government agencies.
