Job summary

United Ground Express is hiring a General Manager to lead station operations, service, financial performance, and team management at a UGE station. You will drive daily operations, foster a positive work environment, and ensure safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires prior supervisory experience, a college degree or equivalent, and ability to manage a dynamic environment, with the flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and financial performance of the station and monitor results against plan.
• Ensure safety compliance and security checkpoint responsibilities.
• Lead and coach station team to achieve operational goals and customer service standards.
• Maintain positive work environment and strong employee relations.
• Solicit customer feedback to improve travel experience.
• Coordinate with authorities, vendors, and internal divisions.
• Manage operations budget, staffing forecasts, and resources.
