Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Airport Operations Delivery Manager who will lead planning and digital architecture for major airport programs. The role partners with airport stakeholders and HNTB teams to improve operations, modernize processes, and realize long‑term value.

You will contribute to business development, thought leadership, and aviation practice growth while navigating complex operational challenges and ensuring successful project delivery across national and international contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with extensive aviation/ops/technology experience.
• Experience translating complex challenges into strategic plans and scopes.
• Proven ability to engage executive audiences and shape proposals.

Responsibilities

• Acts as trusted advisor to airports and aviation organizations for strategic initiatives.
• Provides leadership in planning, digital architecture, and implementation of tech programs.
• Supports major airport programs from strategy to implementation and delivery.
• Contributes to business development, thought leadership, and aviation practice growth.
• Identifies leads, pursues high-level projects, and helps win work.
• Prepares technical materials: analyses, procurement docs, and strategic materials.
• Manages client relationships and guides service applications to client needs.
• Collaborates with national practice leaders to advance technical knowledge.
• Helps with contracting and project execution alongside regional staff.
• Participates in marketing and consideration of market opportunities.
• Supports multiple offices and disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
• Engages in strategic planning and thought leadership initiatives.
