Job summary

City of Charlotte seeks an experienced supervisor for the Airport Operations Center at CLT. You will oversee coordinators, organize shifts, train staff, and conduct performance reviews while upholding safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management/Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related aviation field plus three years of experience; or an Associate’s Degree plus five years; or a High School Diploma with seven years experience.
• Experience in Airport Operations at a FAR Part 139 certified airport preferred.
• Knowledge of FAR Parts 139 and TSR Part 1542 required.
• ICS/NIMS knowledge required; strong telecommunications and systems familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the work of Airport Operations Center Coordinators; organize shift resources and assign tasks.
• Train, schedule, andConduct performance reviews; relay complex oral and written instructions.
• Provide assistance to tenants, contractors, the traveling public and airport employees; establish relationships.
