Job summary

NMS is seeking a Mobility Services Supervisor to lead the daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and dignified assistance for passengers with mobility needs at the Anchorage airport. You will oversee staffing, training, and coordination with airlines and ground services to maintain smooth passenger flow and compliance with safety protocols.

The role requires strong customer service, supervisory experience, and the ability to manage documentation, equipment maintenance, and performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers for passengers up to 350 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily mobility services operations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Supervise Mobility Specialists and temporary staff; provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and airport protocols; promote respectful passenger interactions.
• Monitor safety practices and address hazards.
• Assist in training and onboarding; maintain certifications and performance records.
• Coordinate with Airlines, Security, Gate Agents, and Ground Transportation to optimize mobility services.
• Maintain service logs, incident reports, and equipment maintenance records.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of mobility equipment; report issues.
• Support leadership in achieving goals, budgets, and quality metrics; report progress.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues.
