Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; experience may substitute for the degree on exception basis.
• 10 years of work experience in medium/large hub airport construction or similar, with some supervision.
• Preferred: Professional Engineering License (P.E.)

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the MEPF engineering team and consultants, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee the design and analysis of MEPF systems for buildings and other infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and quality control measures.
• Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and drawings.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to meet goals.
• Provide technical guidance to team members and junior engineers.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in MEPF engineering.
• Participate in business development activities, including client meetings, proposals, and presentations.
• Direct construction inspections and oversee RFIs/submittals as needed.
• Engage with stakeholders including FAA, TSA, tenants, consultants, and airlines.
