Job summary

ARORA ENGINEERS, LLC. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to ensure HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fueling, and baggage handling systems at airport construction projects meet design specs and safety standards.

You will conduct inspections, oversee testing and commissioning, document results, and coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant mechanical infrastructure for airport operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in airport projects or large-scale infrastructure.
• ASME, NFPA, or HVAC-related certifications preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fueling systems, and baggage handling systems at airport facilities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and startup of mechanical systems and ensure proper functionality of pumps, compressors, piping, and ventilation.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions; prepare daily reports and final inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and design teams; attend progress meetings and provide inspection updates.
• Monitor safety and quality assurance; ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies; recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
