Job summary

Arora Engineers, LLC seeks a Sr. Mechanical Inspector to ensure airport construction mechanical installations meet design specs, codes, and safety standards. You will inspect HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fueling, and baggage handling systems on active projects.

You will coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, review drawings, document findings, prepare reports, and support commissioning and QA activities to deliver high-quality, safe infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a mechanical-related field with strong technical foundations.
• Experience inspecting mechanical systems in large-scale construction, preferably airports or transit hubs.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, and local codes and standards is a plus.
• Paid attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fueling, and baggage handling systems at airport facilities.
• Verify compliance with project specs, authority regulations, ASHRAE/NFPA, and building codes.
• Review drawings, coordinate with project engineers, and provide feedback on submissions.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, startup activities, and defect actions.
• Prepare daily reports, punch lists, and final inspection documentation; maintain records.
