Sodexo at the Delta Sky Club in Raleigh–Durham International Airport is hiring a Buffet Cook. The role focuses on preparing hot and cold items, maintaining quality, and supporting high-volume buffet service for travelers. This is a full-time position with weekly pay and benefits.

We look for at least 2 years of professional cooking experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and solid food-safety knowledge. TSA background, drug screening, and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience.
• Experience in fast-paced kitchens.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation.
• Experience in airports, hotels, or catering is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Cook, you'll play a key role in creating fresh, high-quality food for Delta Sky Club guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing hot and cold food items according to recipes and standards.
• Supporting buffet service and high-volume meal periods.
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Following food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Keeping workstations organized, stocked, and guest-ready.Collaborating with kitchen team members to ensure a smooth operation.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 2 years of professional cooking experience.
• Experience working in fast-paced kitchens.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Experience in hotels, catering, airport lounges, restaurants, banquet operations, healthcare, or private clubs is highly valued.
• Dependable team players who take pride in their craft.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support a collaborative kitchen environment.

Important Requirements:

• Selected candidates must be able to:
• Pass a TSA background investigation.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Obtain airport security clearance.
