Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of locksmithing, including electrical and security systems.
• Three years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing lock systems.
• Valid Texas Class C driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Pass TSA Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Records check.
• Must maintain federally mandated airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, and maintains mechanical and electronic lock systems.
• Makes emergency repairs to lock systems.
• Logs keys issued and returned.
• Re-keys locks for lost or stolen keys.
• Recodes locks to prevent breaches.
• Maintains inventory and orders parts and keys.
• Conducts periodic inspections and audits of keys.
• Operates key coding and duplicator machines.
