Qualifications

• Three years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing lock systems.
• High school diploma or GED required and valid Texas driver’s license.
• Ability to pass TSA Security Threat Assessment and a Criminal History Records check.
• Must maintain federally mandated security clearance to work at an airport.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, and maintains mechanical and electronic lock systems.
• Performs emergency repairs to lock systems.
• Operates key coding and duplicator machines, frequently lifting and carrying equipment weighing 30 pounds.
• Repairs, services and adjusts locks for doors, gates and office furniture.
• Logs keys issued and returned.
• Re-keys locks for lost or stolen keys.
• Recodes locks to prevent breaches.
• Maintains inventory and orders parts and keys.
• Conducts periodic inspections of push button locks and audits of all keys.
• Performs related duties as required.
