Job summary

Tailwind Concessions is seeking a skilled Line Cook for our airport dining operation in Harlingen, TX. This part-time role focuses on preparing and plating meals to high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, and collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver quality experiences for travelers.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures exactly.
• Strong knife skills and precision.
• Good stamina for extended standing and busy shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute recipes and plating standards consistently to ensure a quality experience for every guest
• Maintain knowledge of food safety procedures including proper temperatures for ingredient storage and food preparation
• Operate as a collaborative and dependable member of the kitchen team
• Perform short order cooking in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Operate the fryer and flat top grill with skill and precision
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout each shift
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
• Prep and portion ingredients in support of daily kitchen operations
• Restock and replenish product and inventory supplies as needed
• Interact with guests in a positive and professional manner
• Perform all other duties as assigned
