Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist at DAL Airport to manage commissary shipments, maintain accurate inventory records and support airport operations. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with inventory systems, and the ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Key duties include physical counts, data entry, coordinating with procurement, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• High School Diploma.
• Previous experience in inventory management or related roles.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Ability to access and interpret information on electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, Computers, Mobile).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory to ensure essential supplies are always available, minimizing shortages.
• Regularly check inventory accuracy against records and correct discrepancies.
• Keep detailed records of inventory quantities and locations using software.
• Work with procurement and logistics to order and receive supplies promptly.
• Establish and maintain efficient inventory systems including automated tracking.
• Educate airport staff on inventory management practices for consistency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to understand inventory needs.
• Ensure stored items meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Generate regular reports detailing inventory levels and projections.
• Manage receiving, storing, and dispatching processes accurately.
• Develop and uphold inventory policies and procedures.
• Assist in budgeting by analyzing inventory-related costs.
• Provide training on inventory systems and technologies.
