Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related/relevant experience preferred
• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license
• ADA requirements: able to perform essential functions with/without accommodation
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks (5-50 pounds)
• Environmental factors: exposure to outdoor, dirt, noise, and weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Performs manual work including grounds maintenance, runway maintenance, or other airport projects.
• Mows, trims, edges, and maintains landscaped areas and surrounding property; handles debris and waste removal.
• Patches and repairs runway surfaces, sidewalks, curbing, and related infrastructure; lays asphalt and pours concrete as needed.
• Operates light equipment and tools (mower, edger, trimmer, saws, leaf blower, etc.).
• Performs routine equipment maintenance, checks fluids, and reports faults for repair.
• Follows safety procedures, sets up work zones, directs traffic, and coordinates with supervisors and other workers.
