Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid PA Class C driver's license and pass airfield driver's test within 30 days.
• Must provide personal protective footwear (Safety shoes).
• Adhere to ACAA safety guidelines and PPE policy.
• Pesticide and/or weed applicator's license is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop or participate in the job safety analysis procedures.
• Mix and pour concrete, asphalt and hot mix to fill and repair holes in damaged sections of roads, airfield ramps, runways, taxiways and parking areas.
• Use a jackhammer to break pavement.
• Paint taxiways, runways, ramp areas, roadways, sidewalks, curbs, and all pavement markings.
• Cut grass, prune trees, landscape construction, and related tasks.
• Empty trash receptacles and perform general cleanliness around airport property.
• Remove snow on sidewalks and assist with plow trucks and runway sanders.
• Move materials and assist ground crew; provide demolition and escort duties as needed.
• Maintenance of water conveyance systems.
• Perform other related work as assigned.
