Job summary

Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) manages Pittsburgh International Airport and oversees ground operations for the Driver AGC role. The position involves operating trucks, snow removal equipment, and related vehicles to keep the airport in an operational state.

The role requires a PA CDL Class A with Tank/Hazmat and Passenger endorsements, plus a minimum of two years’ driving experience in a maintenance setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience as driver in maintenance environment.
• Must provide own PPE footwear (Composite toe).
• Must hold valid PA Class A CDL with Tank/Hazmat and Passenger endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Develop or participate in job safety analysis procedures.
• Operate vehicles and equipment including dump trucks, snow removal equipment, buses, and trailers.
• Check oil, hydraulic fluid and water levels; apply lubrication.
• Haul equipment to job sites and communicate on radio.
• Travel on airport grounds using tower communications; work 24/7 in a snow season.
