Job summary

Envoy Air in Hawaii is hiring a Ground Handler to guide aircraft on the taxiway, load and unload baggage, and operate ground support equipment. You’ll contribute to safe, on-time departures and passenger service in a fast-paced airport environment.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, flexible shifts including nights and weekends, and proficiency in English. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship and hold a REAL ID-compliant license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
• Possess a valid, unexpired REAL ID-compliant driver’s license; or ability to travel for business as required
• Able to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in variable weather
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe, on-time gate entry/exit
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials (up to 75 lbs)
• Operate ground support equipment such as tugs and belt loaders to position aircraft and baggage
• Collaborate with the team to ensure safe, on-time departures
• Clean the interior and service aircraft lavatories when required
