Job summary

Avflight Harrisburg is seeking a part-time customer service agent to assist travelers at the Middletown airport location. The role focuses on delivering friendly, efficient passenger service, handling baggage procedures, and guiding passengers through the terminal to aircraft.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and availability for varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Airport environment, safety awareness, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to read and write English; bilingual a plus.
Able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs for extended periods.
Able to work swing and graveyard shifts, weekends, holidays.
Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers.
Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, prepare and issue tickets, check baggage, and collect excess baggage charges.
Assist passengers with reservations, standby, luggage, cabin availability and in-flight supplies.
Guide passengers from the terminal to the aircraft safely.
Load and unload cargo on/off aircraft; transport cargo between terminals.
Operate ground equipment and maintain cabin cleanliness.
