Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in Airline Customer Service and airport operations.
• Proven supervisory experience managing a business unit.
• Ability to use MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee safe, efficient operation of all ground support equipment.
• Report discrepancies on ground support equipment (functional and mechanical).
• Coordinate between carriers to ensure on-time service for cargo and baggage.
• Ensure equipment status is safe and functional.
• Coordinate with supervisors and managers across departments.
• Determine manpower requirements and enforce fair disciplinary procedures.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality standards.
• Read loading instructions and safety labels; brief crews before flights.
• Follow all rules and regulations from federal, state, airport authorities, and carriers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
