Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Requires at least 6 months of closely related serving experience, high-volume or fast casual dining preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Requires the ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs.
• Requires the ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, policy documents, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders, places orders, delivers orders, checks back after delivery to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintains table appearance by pre-bussing and clearing clutter; ensures service standards.
• Present the check and handle payments as needed.
• Adheres to HMSHost customer service, alcohol service and cash handling policies.
• Keeps station clean and properly set up for service.
