Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Three years of experience in building maintenance.
• Ability to read/interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Must possess a valid New York State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Maintenance Mechanic and take instruction to increase skills.
• Help train and assist other maintenance staff and airport tenants as needed.
• Provide information to order equipment and supplies.
• Assist HVAC mechanics in maintenance tasks.
• Help develop preventive maintenance schedules for facility systems.
• Prepare reports, logs, and communications as requested.
• Coordinate activities of maintenance personnel and participate in snow removal.
