Job summary

Kelly Services in Puerto Rico is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Supervisor responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, supervising and documenting maintenance and repair works on Airport Facilities including runways, aprons, buildings and bridges.

You will manage budgets, review blueprints, oversee field crews, ensure safety codes, and drive quality control and preventive maintenance through CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer in Training license in good standing with PR College of Engineers and land surveyors preferred.
• OSHA 30 hours required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Driver’s license required.
• 3–5 years of related experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, or coordinate maintenance and construction activities to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with supervisors, owners, contractors, or designers to resolve issues.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety codes and quality control.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs and safety procedures.
• Supervise maintenance and construction staff and manage labor requirements.
• Monitor work orders and inspections using the CMMS platform.
• Investigate complaints and promote customer service culture.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budgets.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings; interpret reports.
• Conduct preventive walkthroughs and follow up on repairs.
• Attend meetings to discuss ongoing issues and projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
